Nick & Tatyana's Trash the Dress : This will will always be a favorite photo shoot for me, this is my first "Trash the dress" shoot. I was blown away at how it went. Both Nick and Tatyana were not only very photogenic but wonderful sports in this event. I cant wait to do a trash the dress shoot again.

For those of you who don't know what "trash the dress" is ~ well it is a shoot in a wedding dress where you don't worry about getting it dirty but enjoying how wonderful you feel in your dress with the love of your life. No disrespect to the dress just a celebration of love, while making art.

Jen's belly cast : featured You might be looking at this photo shoot thinking that girl (not the prego one) looks a lot like Monica. Well it is me~ This is no trick photography, no timer and it is not a photo take by me. This is a first ... a featured photo shoot taken by Samantha Guzman (my niece) the next photographer in the works. Sam loves to take pictures especially with my camera. I think she likes it because I don't share it often. Sam did most of the days photos because it is her Mom (my sister-in-law) whom I doing a belly cast for. My hands were just a bit messy and too busy to do photos.

This belly cast thing I was thinking about starting up a venture years ago and just love doing it. If you want I can do this for you too. The pricing is $200 for the cast. If you did it along with a maternity photo shoot I can do the cast for $150 and the photos are $125 for a hour shoot. Wow that would be a packed day... so get ready.

Did I hear "fisheye" #2

I want to say thank you to ceejanerun for the motivation for this series of photos... I saw her hysterical daily photo with the fisheye and hooked mine up~

While taking these photos I had tears running down my face from laughter. There was a tie in house for favorite photo so I posted both you pick which is your favorite~

I think the title works for both photos with a play on words... My daughter is like a fish in the water and as we all know Cat's love fish!!

OMG Im so behind on editing!!!!
This wonderful day is up... Seeing all the other s'mug friends photos posted was putting the pressure on, The trip to San Francisco with Hillary, Lady Kate, Kamryn, Darron and Robyn was AMAZING... what a day! I not suer about this photo... do I LOVE the angel or do I not like it so much? I do have some other GREAT photos of Hillary and the others in the S'muggres SF gallery http://katchinyakandid.smugmug.com/gallery/8173939_6bkEq#533765940_L8CR7 but the other photos were a little more usual. So I went for the different one!

This will will always be a favorite photo shoot for me, this is my first "Trash the dress" shoot. I was blown away at how it went. Both Nick and Tatyana were not only very photogenic but wonderful sports in this event. I cant wait to do a trash the dress shoot again. For those of you who don't know what "trash the dress" is ~ well it is a shoot in a wedding dress where you don't worry about getting it dirty but enjoying how wonderful you feel in your dress with the love of your life. No disrespect to the dress just a celebration of love, while making art.

Chicken's have tongues

So I was holding Angle the Chicken today and thought to myself...
Do chickens have tongues?
and with that thought I grabbed her mouth for a look. This is what I saw ~
A tongue !!! (I learn something new everyday)
after seeing this...
I said to Angel ~
What a great photo for my "SOTD".
But, It was not possible to take a photo while holding her mouth open so I asked my almost 6 year old daughter to take the photo~
And so she did~ Here it is!!!
I think she got a good shot~ I guess I have a mini me in training~

Whine or wine???

These boys were not too fond of the family photo thing. So we placed the whining boy's in a wine barrel and they were fine~ like most boys their age they wanted to be free!!!
